Tracks on Main
It seems that Woodstock, no matter where it’s located, is synonymous with great music festivals. Residents of the new homes in Woodstock GA should mark their calendars for the Tracks on Main music festival coming to Woodstock this August. This family friendly festival is a great way to enjoy up and coming live music acts.
The free festival is taking place August 13, from noon to 11 p.m. The event will be held downtown across three stages: the Gazebo in the Park at City Center at 101 Arnold Mill Road, the Local Stage on Wheeler Street and the Resurgens Orthopaedics Stage at Elm Street Events Green.
This festival is a way to promote downtown Woodstock as a regular live music destination. Even with the construction of the amphitheater, the organization was able to find new ways to promote the community’s love of live music, showcasing the many experiences available. By hosting events across downtown, visitors can see the many musical options available in the city.
There are fourteen talented bands taking part in this free music festival, all of them performing original music. Acts include Humming House, Dead 27s, Jonathan Peyton, Peachy Pyron, David Pippin, Jason Wilkes, Sara Rachele, Wesley Cook, The Future Babes, Davin McCoy, The High Divers, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Isaac & Joel, and Swear and Shake.
Come take in the sights and sounds of a variety of talented, original musicians. The music starts at noon and the Humming House are expected to go on stage at 7 p.m. All of the bands are sure to make plenty of new fans after this feel-good festival and their music will soon be filling the new homes in Woodstock GA. Get your family and friends together and take in the wonderful sounds filling downtown Woodstock.
