Largemouth bass aren’t as plentiful, but you can still find some, along with redbreast, red ear, and green sunfish. Later in the year, you can also get some great fishing done in Lake Allatoona.

Mountain biking is incredibly popular in Cherokee County, with trails for all experience levels. People even come from outside the area to enjoy the variety of trails. You’ll find the Taylor Randahl Memorial Bike Trails at Olde Rope Mill Park. You have your choice of three courses with beautiful flowing trails along Little River as well as more challenging rocky terrain. 

For even more choice, head to Blankets Creek, where you have seven interconnected trails for a fantastic mix of experiences, including jumps, drops, and noticeable elevation changes. Whether you’re a novice or experienced, there’s something for everyone. Mosquito Flats is great for beginners, while Van Michel and South Loop are excellent for experienced bikers.
